Care Needs

At Absolute Healthcare we are trusted to provide the very best service for everyone that we care for. We understand the complex and varying needs of each individual. We work with you to put together a care plan that supports you in your home and helps to maintain your independence.

Our team of carers are led by Louise, a registered Nurse, who is qualified to train our carers to carry out complex medical tasks. This provides you with the peace of mind that you are always receiving the highest standard of care and means we can respond quickly to any changes in your care requirements. Unlike many other care providers we don't need to rely on the Community Nurses to provide training to our staff, this is an enormous benefit for the many people we are trusted to care for.

Here are a few of the conditions that we specialise in, if you are looking for something that isn't listed here – please give us a call on 01420 769658, chances are that we are able to help!

Each person is unique and experiences Dementia in their own way. We fully understand Dementia and the different challenges you face, and we will support you in your own home to make sure you can maintain your independence in familiar surroundings.

Parkinson's shows differently in each individual. We understand the emotional upheaval that can come with a Parkinson's diagnosis and we are here to provide support so you can live independently in the comfort of your own home.

Diabetes is a complex illness that requires careful monitoring to ensure your health is maintained. We understand all aspects of Diabetes and all of our carers are fully trained to support you to make the right diet choices, help monitor blood sugar levels and to check that the right levels of medication are being administered.

Cerebral Palsy is a term used to cover a range of neurological conditions. We know the importance of making the right choice of care provider for the care of children or adults with Cerebral Palsy and we provide a high standard of care that is not just beneficial to the individual with the condition but also can provide a welcome relief for family and friends.

Multiple Sclerosis is very complex, and has many different symptoms. Most people won't experience them all, certainly not at the same time. We take in to account the existing routines and lifestyles of someone living with MS, taking the time to tailor care to each individual.

Learning to live with Motor Neurone Disease can be challenging. As the condition develops over time it becomes ever more important to have the right support in place to help you maintain an independent life. Our carers are fully trained to deal with the complexities that Motor Neurone Disease can present.

Palliative Care & End of Life Care are services we provide whereby we help the patient and their family to cope with terminal conditions and associated treatments. We are here for each person until they no longer need us - be that cure, continuing illness or death. By supporting each individual we help them maximise the benefits of treatment and to live as well as possible with the effects of the disease.

Spinal Cord Injuries present all sorts of health problems and complications that arise from paralysis, such as pressure ulcers and our carers are trained in preventing these. Louise, our registered nurse, provides expert training and a wide and varied support plan that deals with mobility support and manual handling.

Brain Injuries can have far-reaching consequences and affect those closest to the individual who has been injured. We know that this is an incredibly stressful, emotional and challenging time for all the people involved. We are on hand to share our expertise and aid the recovery process.
