We understand that Multiple Sclerosis is very complex, and has many different symptoms. Most people won't experience them all, certainly not at the same time. Symptoms come and go, and tend to worsen over time as the nerves deteriorate. Symptoms can also vary, because they depend on which nerves are affected and the extent of the damage.
Common symptoms include loss of balance, muscle spasms, numbness, problems moving arms or legs, as well as bowel and bladder issues. Individuals may also experience double vision, eye discomfort or loss of vision, as well as hearing loss, memory loss or other cognitive problems. There can also be speech problems and fatigue.
The people with Multiple Sclerosis that we are trusted to care for have vastly different care needs depending on their individual situation. Some are advanced in their diagnosis, others are suffering a significant relapse. We take in to account the existing routines and lifestyles of someone receiving our support, we take the time to assess each individual and build all of our care around our customers. This enables our carers to meet the requirements of you or a loved one, by providing care that meets the high standards we set ourselves. We offer short or long term care depending on the person and their situation.
